future proof festival

The Future Proof Festival installation translated complex investment strategies into an engaging experiential environment for one of the industry's largest wealth management conferences. I designed large-scale environmental graphics spanning multiple Morgan Stanley Investment Management brands, creating a cohesive visual system that balanced brand consistency, readability, and visitor engagement within a high-traffic outdoor setting.

overview

Future Proof Festival is a large-scale outdoor experience that blends the energy of a festival with the networking and education of a financial conference. For Morgan Stanley Investment Management, I designed an environmental graphics system spanning multiple branded installations that transformed complex investment messaging into an engaging, approachable experience for attendees.

challenge

Unlike a traditional conference booth, the installation needed to attract attention within a lively outdoor festival environment while communicating sophisticated investment products. The challenge was creating large-format graphics that remained legible from a distance, worked cohesively across multiple Morgan Stanley Investment Management brands, and encouraged visitors to stop, explore, and engage with the space.

visual system

Inspired by football strategy, I developed a visual system that translated investment portfolio concepts into an intuitive field diagram. Consistent typography, directional illustrations, and a restrained color palette created a scalable framework that unified multiple Morgan Stanley Investment Management brands while remaining highly legible at large scale.

environmental applications

The visual system extended beyond feature banners to create a cohesive branded environment across the Future Proof Festival activation. Graphics were adapted for the tent canopy, environmental banners, and supporting signage, with close collaboration alongside the event team to create a unified visitor experience.
